Erkers Eyewear is very proud of their origin. Each and every frame and story is based on the history, passion, and pride they have for the city of St. Louis. Just as each of our frames/icons have a meaning behind them, the St. Louis Flag does too.

The wavy bars in the St. Louis Flag represent the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Dating back to the late 1800s, Erkers settled in St. Louis, just west of the Mississippi River as the population began to grow.

The frames in the STL Flag Collection are all named after various St. Louis cities. Not only that, but if you take a look at the temple tips, you will find the STL Flag symbol engraved into each and every frame that belongs to this collection.
