The Ferris Wheel is animportant part of Erkers Eyewear history. In«1904, the World's Fair was held in-Saint Louis, Missouri, and the very first ferris wheel rides were given. Erkers Eyewear was the official photographer of the 1904 World's Fair, with incredible pictures documenting this unique piece of American history.

Towering in the sky at 264 feet, people came from all over the world to see and experience this exciting new invention. Just as Erkers has expanded over the years, Saint Louis has just opened a new ferris wheel known as the “St. Louis Wheel," located downtown standing at 200 feet tall. The Wheel is the biggest attraction in downtown Saint Louis since the Gateway Arch.
